Gran Turismo 7 – Spec 3 is a Major Update With New Content and Data Logger Feature, Out in December

The update will be available for free, and brings 2 new tracks and 8 new vehicles to PS4, PS5 and PlayStation VR2 players.

Sony and Polyphony Digital have announced Gran Turismo 7 – Spec 3 for PS5, PS4 and PlayStation VR2. Spec 3 is essentially a major update for Gran Turismo 7, and will bring with it a host of new content, including new tracks, new cars, and other features. Check out the announcement trailer below.

Headlining the Spec 3 update are two new tracks, eight new vehicles, a new circuit experience, and a data logger feature that can help players improve their track times over several races. More features of the update are slated to be announced as we get closer to its launch date.

The update will be coming for free in December and will bring the game up to update 1.64. Stay tuned for more details, and in the meantime, check out update 1.63.
