Gran Turismo 7 - October Update

As much of a meme as long-term support has become for some video games, you have to admire Polyphony Digital’s commitment as it continues releasing new content for Gran Turismo 7. The latest update, 1.72, is the first part of the massive Spec IV update and goes live on October 14th at 11 PM PDT.

It features six new vehicles: the Honda Civic SI Group A Version 1987, Honda Step WGN Spada Premium Line 2023, Citroën 2CV 6 Charleston 1986, Ferrari F355 Berlinetta 1994, Mazda RX-Vision GT3 EVO 2026, and the Xiaomi Vision Gran Turismo. You can also look forward to the SUGO International Racing Course as a new circuit.

Of course, that’s not all. You can also look forward to a new opening cinematic; Car Concierge for “ordering Used and Legend cars”; a new mode with various “brand-specific” challenges called Experience; and perhaps most hype of all, Car Viewer, allowing you to finally head to the garage and look at your massive fleet of vehicles.

As for Part 1 in December, it adds the Autumn Ring circuit, six more new vehicles, the new Family mode, a new difficulty for Power Pack owners, Shuffle Race for racing with random vehicles, and Online Drift Trial for competing against others online. In the meantime, stay tuned for more details on next week’s update when it goes live.
