Still no release date sadly.

Polyphony Digital’s Gran Turismo Sport is one of the few PS4 exclusives that was to release in 2017 but was subsequently delayed into 2017. Sony made sure to remind us why it’s worth looking forward to with a new trailer at PlayStation Experience. And it was all about the visuals.

Along with immaculate detailing on the cars themselves, Gran Turismo Sport boasts impressive environmental details and weather conditions. Dynamic weather is sadly not a thing but the lens-flares, alpha effects and overall image quality leave us impressed.

Gran Turismo Sport will support 4K resolution on PS4 Pro (unconfirmed whether native or through checkerboard rendering), features Wide Colour for better colours overall, high dynamic range lighting or HDR and full support for VR via PlayStation VR.

Unfortunately, we don’t have a release date beyond “2017” but it could be sooner rather than later. What are your thoughts on the new trailer? Let us know in the comments.
