More gameplay from Granblue Fantasy: Versus’ RPG Mode has emerged courtesy of the game’s official Twitter account. The one minute clip sees Lancelot and Charlotta facing off against Yggdrasil, alternating between attacking and defending. Check it out below.

Despite the fighting game trappings, RPG Mode in Granblue Fantasy: Versus is more of a beat ’em up side-scroller. You’ll battle various enemies and bosses while earning different gear along the way. If you ever face trouble, it’s possible to play co-op by putting in a “Rescue Request.” Whether random players can join in to help you out remains to be seen.

Even if you’re not too interested in online battles, RPG Mode should be meaty enough to keep you busy. Granblue Fantasy: Versus is in development for PlayStation 4 and releases on February 6th 2020. XSEED Games and Marvelous Europe are publishing it in the West though a release date has yet to be confirmed.
