Grand Theft Auto 5 PC Supports Nvidia’s TXAA

Despite being billed for AMD Evolved, GTA 5 apparently supports Nvidia's anti-aliasing solution.

Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto 5 will be supporting Nvidia’s Temporal Anti-Aliasing according to the company’s GeForce page. This is interesting since the was said to be an AMD Gaming Evolved title.

Nvidia’s TXAA is a custom solution created by the company for eliminating jaggies in-game, which should ensure Grand Theft Auto 5 looks even better than before. No other features have been confirmed such as PhysX or HBAO+ and it’s odd how neither AMD or Rockstar has confirmed the support for, say, Mantle (AMD’s custom API).

Grand Theft Auto 5 will be releasing in March for PC and is apparently in development by the same team that ported Max Payne 3. It was delayed from January to March to allow for more time to polish the game and make it better for PC platforms.
