Grand Theft Auto 5 Online Hesists DLC

The Power Play and Grotti X80 Proto updates for Grand Theft Auto Online are finally up! Rockstar announced that the new updates would be available today on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The Power Play update adds a total of six new powerups to give players a temporary edge over others.

These include Beasted, which transforms the player into the Beast, Zoned, which slows time down (a la Fallout 4’s jet), Doped which covers your enemies’ screens with a distracting haze, Raging, which basically activates “Trevor mode,” increasing your damage output while reducing damage taken, Flipped, which screws with opponents by inverting their controls, and Dark, which takes your whole team off the minimap temporarily for optimal stealth.

The Grotti X80 Proto update ups the ante in terms of speed–the X80 Proto is now Grand Theft Auto Online’s fastest supercar. As a special promotion for Power Play Week, players can avail double the currency while playing through the Power Play Playlist.
