Rockstar Games has announced that Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition is now available on Steam. Alongside the release itself, the game is also playable on the Steam Deck. The Steam release is also accompanied by a release on the Epic Games Store.
Slated to a remake of the first 3D games in the Grand Theft Auto franchise—specifically Grand Theft Auto 3, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas—Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition features modern controls, upgrades to its graphics and environments, and also support for Steam features like achievements.
Rumours about Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition coming to Epic Games Store popped up earlier this week.
The game, previously only available on PC through the Rockstar Games Launcher, has been available since November 2021 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch. Since its launch, the game has seen several updates bringing bug fixes and stability improvements.
