Grand Theft Auto V: Two New Screenshots Released

And the focus this week is...helicopters.

Grand Theft Auto V will be one of the biggest games of 2013, if not one of the biggest games of all time, and man does Rockstar Games know it. They’ve been hyping trailers, claiming it’ll sell more in 12 months than Grand Theft Auto IV did in it’s lifetime, showing off multiple characters and big movie-style set-pieces, and throwing us details like it’s no tomorrow. It’s the new Diablo 2: Quiet for too long and once it sees the light of day, friggin’ drown people in details until the game’s release.

We have two new screenshots for the game, and they don’t really show much but man, do they look good. The scale of the world is conveyed pretty strongly in both screenshots, the first showcasing a letter reminiscent of the Hollywood sign and the second showing a helicopter overlooking the “FIB”. And seriously, if you can bring down that building in the game, more power to Rockstar.

Grand Theft Auto V is currently billed for a Spring 2013 release.
