Siliconera has discovered that Grasshopper Manufacture’s Lily Bergamo has been trademarked in North America. The filing is through GungHo Online Entertainment, and indicates that the PS4 title will be heading to North America (and eventually Europe).

Details are scant on Lily Bergamo, which looks to be a third person action game featuring a female protagonist that can annihilate armies within minutes. It will be releasing in 2014 and marks the first PlayStation 4 title from Grasshopper Manufacture and from director Suda51.

The studio’s last release, Killer is Dead, didn’t do very well, be it commercially or critically with considerable controversy dogging its release. You can read our review for the game here. Will Grasshopper try to push the envelope again with Lily Bergamo or will it be going back to basics? More importantly, can we expect an Xbox One release any time down the line? Stay tuned for more; in the meantime, check out a teaser for Lily Bergamo below.
