Gravity Rush 2 Live-Action Short Features Gravity-Defying Kitten

Gravity Cat is not bound by your rules.

What’s the best way to promote SIE Japan Studio’s Gravity Rush 2 (known as Gravity Daze 2 in Japan), which is currently receiving positive reviews from critics? Why, with a live-action short featuring a kitten that can control gravity. We’re guessing its a reference to the protagonist, who’s name is Kat. Either way, it’s a pretty cool short.

Presented as a single shot (though the cuts are likely masked with lots of clever editing), the short features Ito Manrihana of idol group Nogizaka46 and Takada Seiryu dealing with the effects of shifting gravity. It starts with the pet kitten climbing walls and only escalates from there.

Gravity Rush 2 is out on January 19th for PlayStation 4. Along with the base game, players can look forward to free story DLC in March that focuses on Kat’s companion Raven. What are your thoughts on the live-action short? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned for more information on Gravity Rush 2.
