GreedFall Trailer Showcases The Plagued City of Serene

Developer Spiders offered a pretty significant announcement on its upcoming RPG, GreedFall, at E3. It confirmed that the title would be out in September for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. We also glimpsed a trailer that revealed the story of Teer Fradee and the trials that our heroes would face.

Throughout the world of GreedFall are some other interesting locations, like the port city of Serene. Contrary to the name, Serene has collapsed due to a strange plague. A cure can be found on a “mysterious island”, which is Teer Fradee. At least this explains why the player sets out in the first place.

GreedFall will have a variety of quests, and players can choose to resolve them in a number of ways. Choices made will affect the world, which has been described as “ever-evolving” though how deeply it will impact one’s playthrough remains to be seen.
