After the community requested it, Codemasters has announced that a Demolition Derby Mode is now available for GRID 2. Check out the screenshots below just to see how the GRID 2 engine handles real time impact and damage.

The Demolition Derby Mode includes split-screen and online multiplayer which can accomodate up to 12 players, and will include two track configurations, each with a crossover jump, so you just beat each other senseless via vehicular mayhem. The pack also features some stock liveries and the Jupiter Eagle Ray Mk 5 Demo Derby because what’s a demolition pack without some cars to back it up?

The free DLC is available to Xbox 360 and PC users, with PlayStation 3 fans having to wait another week to get their hands on the same. Meanwhile, you can head here to check out our official review of GRID 2, which is actually well worth a play regardless of your console of choice.
