GRID 2 World Series Racing Video Looks at New Locations and Drift Events

Codemasters continues to expand on the racing sequel.

Posted By | On 15th, May. 2013

The newest edition of the World Series Racing videos for Codemasters’ GRID 2 explores new locations in Asia, particularly Hong Kong and mountainous roads inspired by Okutama, Japan, along with looking at the new Drift events. Along with the locations, we also get to see some of the cars and open road racing events that make up the gameplay.

We also get a look at some of the Street Racing in Dubai and Track Racing at Yas Marine in Abu Dhabi. The Drift events take centre stage as players work to complete goals in speed, angle and drift duration, not to mention proximity to drift markers on corners. The better you handle your car, the better the rewards.

Drift events are available in Career, Split-Screen and Online mode, with each event featuring three multi-car runs through corners, hairpins and other paths.

GRID 2 will release on May 28th for Xbox 360, PC and PS3.
