Grounded

The next game from Obsidian Entertainment was a bit smaller than many people expected, in several ways, when Grounded was revealed. It trades the huge RPG worlds of the company’s past for an adventure game set in the hidden world in everyone’s backyard. Today we got a new trailer as well as an idea of when we’ll be able to try this out.

The story trailer breaks down the pretty straight forward narrative of you being shrunk down in the backyard, and the device to restore you is broken. You must create shelter and weapons as you try to survive against common insects that are now deadly. Check it out below.

Grounded will release for Xbox One and PC sometime in 2021, with the Early Access coming to Xbox Game Preview and Steam Early Access on July 28th. You can read more about what will be included in it through here.
