GTA 5 PC

Rockstar Games has revealed in a recent Q&A that it plans to bring the Rockstar Editor, the video game editing software exclusive to Grand Theft Auto 5 on PC, to the Xbox One and PS4, hopefully by this Summer.

“The Rockstar Editor is an advanced tool requiring additional processing power so it would not be compatible with GTA V on the older systems, but we are currently working on a version tailored for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 consoles – and we hope to release that sometime this summer, or as soon as it is ready.”

Fans across both generations should also be happen to hear that the new radio station, The Lab, exclusive to PC will also be arriving “in a forthcoming title update.” Unfortunately, you won’t be able to create your own MP3 playlist on consoles like with the PC version.

“The GTA V PC Self Radio experience that plays your personally curated playlist of MP3s in the game as a fully featured and properly integrated radio station just wouldn’t technically be possible on the consoles as it requires more than the consoles allow at this time.”

There’s plenty more content to look forward to from the developer, especially in GTA Online, so stay tuned.
