GTA 5 Trailer Number 2: Facts And Secrets That You May Have Missed

Everything you need to know.

Rockstar has released the second trailer for GTA 5 and it’s a stunner. It shows how epic the game really is with three protagonists and a world that is bigger than Red Dead Redemption, GTA: San Andreas, and GTA 4 combined.

Here’s the trailer:

At the start of the trailer you can see the expansive world Rockstar was talking about. It really is quite massive with terrific draw distances and great attention to detail. This trailer is about the three protagonists and their life stories, and as you can see the guy who was shown in the first trailer has a family and a son who falls into a lot of issues.

The most striking thing we came across in the trailer was the one of the protagonists jumping out of an airplane in a car, and then jumping out of that car into a freefall mid-jump. We don’t know if it’s just one set piece during one of the missions or something you can do as a common activity, but it looks awesome. The GIF below shows it pretty well (courtesy of the fantastic members at Neogaf).

You can count on a lot of mock Apple hardware like this one. Remember the bikini babe pic that was leaked? That contained an iPhone, this an iMac, so when they say it’s a satire of Americana, they mean it.

The name of the song is Stevie Wonder’s Skeletons. Yes, yes, we have the video.

By watching the trailer you can see that the cutscenes don’t really look all that good, but what were you expecting? It’s on current gen consoles, pulling off a game of a massive scale scale. And there’s still a few months to go before the game releases, so who knows, the final version might actually look much better. The game also contains a lot of insane action sequences as you can see in the GIF below.

A scene where two trains crash into each other and a character jumps off one of them is the best thing you will see in this entire trailer.

We also knew there will be animals in this game and in the trailer they showed that. It showed a dog dodging a car and probably escaping for its life. And let’s face it, we all love dogs.

Watched the movie Bad Boys? The GIF you see below has been inspired from the movie.

Ever heard the phrase, see no evil, hear no evil, tell no evil… or something like that, you know featuring the chimps? Mahatma Gandhi, anyone? It looks like our protagonists are modeled after that. Sorta…

This following scene could be from a campaign as you can see two trains crashing into each other creating a massive particle explosion.

Storefronts from previous games are back as well.
