Rockstar Games announced that it would be providing two $250,000 cash compensation hand-outs to players following the issues that GTA Online has been facing since launch. The hand-outs were to be transferred to players this week but Rockstar has since announced via its Newswire blog that it will be resolving outstanding issues first.

“We hope to have an update for you on that very soon. As others have mentioned here, we of course want to make sure player progress loss issues are addressed before providing everyone with their GTA$500K. Thanks for your patience and please stay tuned.”

Rockstar has been scrambling since the launch of GTA Online on October 1st to address the multitude of issues players have been facing, which include log-in issues, inability to progress past the first mission and more. Though a majority of these were resolved with the last major game update, there are still some issues remaining. Stay tuned for any updates on when GTA Online players will receive their cash.
