Guerrilla Games’ Mathijs de Jonge shared some additional details about PS4-exclusive Horizon: Zero Dawn via Twitter. He got into the lore a bit, discussing the post-post apocalyptic machines, as well as relations between tribes. He also went into detail about how animals integrate tightly into the games systems.
Hunting wildlife not only nets you food, it also gets you resources for crafting and trading. We can’t help but wonder if this will pan out like Far Cry: Primal, where hunting and crafting were crucial.
Back to the lore, Mathijs de Jonge mentioned that “all machines are dangerous,” which would make life pretty difficult for post-post apocalyptic cave people. The tribes themselves are settled in relatively safe environs, though there’s always the danger of machines.
Guerrilla also took to Twitter to post a new set of screenshots for the game for you to feast your eyes on. Our preliminary judgment? It looks pretty sweet!

All machines are dangerous, the corrupted even more so.

The tribes live in relatively safe settlements, but they don't have much choice, the machines are too plentyful & dangerous.
