ArenaNet finally revealed the first expansion for its MMORPG Guild Wars 2. Heart of Thrones was announced at PAX South and contains tons of new content for fans to sink their teeth into.

Along with a new Mastery system which allows players to go beyond level 80, you’ll have new abilities to master and collections to build. There will also be new quests including Maguuma Jungle where you have to fight the minions of Mordremoth. You can also create a guild hall in Maguuma along with accessing the Stronghold.

Of course, there will also be new enemies, storylines, bosses and group missions to complete as well. Interestingly, profession specializations are also included to allow access to weapons previously closed off to your profession and you can use this to include traits, skills and more.

To top it off, there’s a new profession called Revenant that uses the powers of the Mists while having heavy armour. Thoughts on this new expansion? Let us know below.
