Halo 4: Game of the Year Edition was previously outed by a source that passed an image for the same to IGN. It will include the original game, Spartan Ops Season 1, a War Games Map Pass, the Champions Bundle and all the digital content that has been available either in pre-orders or the Limited Edition.

A Microsoft spokesperson later confirmed the GotY Edition, stating that, “A Game of the Year Edition of Halo 4 will be offered this October, offering tremendous value for fans who want to enjoy one of the most critically acclaimed games of 2012, and additional DLC all in one place. We will have more details to share during the live stream of the Halo Global Championship Finals this Sunday.”

Halo 4: Game of the Year Edition will be out this October and retail for $49.99. That marks an almost one year anniversary for the game, which was developed by 343 Industries and released on November 6th 2012.
