Halo 4 Matchmaking Update Re-Introduces King of the Hill

With new game modes of course.

343 Industries has updated Halo 4’s matchmaking lists and brought back King of the Hill. It also introduces a bunch of new game modes using this standard archetype.

The first new mode is Mosh Pit, which is a re-tread of the same mode from Halo 3. Mosh Pit has players fighting to control a single control point that doesn’t move but enhances your shields. If you die, you’ll need to make your way back to the hill again. The second is Stealth King and it equips players with Sniper Rifles, Plasma Grenades and Thruster Packs. You’ll also have Active Camouflage when you’re inside the hill to make life harder for those seeking control.

Other playlists have received some new modes as well, including Oddball to Team Doubles, Neutral Flag to Team Doubles and Neutral Flag to Team Heavies. If you’ve already received the update to match-making, let us know what you think of it in the comments below.
