343 Industries’ next free update for Halo 5: Guardians will be Warzone-related. “Ghosts of Meridian” will feature a new map called Skirmish at Darkstar and will include a ton of new additions like new weapons, weapon skins, helmets, assassinations, emblems, vehicles (including a new Mantis variant called the Hannibal) and more. The above concept art provides somewhat of a hint as to what the map will look like.

Those who are interested in new community maps can also take note as the developer is working on playtesting and refining community-made Forge maps for general play. While some maps still require work, Community BTB and Grifball maps are in the final stages and should roll out when Ghosts of Meridian is ready.

Though Infection, another often-requested multiplayer, hasn’t been confirmed it will be interesting to see if it actually comes through. If not, there’s always the month after. What are your thoughts on Ghosts of Meridian? Let us know in the comments.
