Halo 5 Guardians

You may not have noticed during the amazing single-player footage of 343 Industries’ Halo 5: Guardians that was revealed at E3 2015 but the campaign is shaping up to be an emotional experience.

Creative director Tim Longo and head of internal development at 343 Industries Josh Holmes spoke to Kotaku about the same and admitted that the emotion would get to them at times. “There’s a part in the game where I have teared up.

But that’s not all. “We have a lot of surprises in the campaign when it comes to that side of things and we’ve tried hard to instill those kind of emotions. That’s exactly what we want — it helps to make the game memorable.”

Halo 5: Guardians will focus on two teams – Master Chief with Blue Team and Jameson Locke with Fireteam Osiris – as the latter is charged with hunting down the former. It will release on October 27th for Xbox One.
