A few lucky participants will have a chance to sample Halo 5's multiplayer.

343 Industries has released a new trailer hyping up the new and brutally improved multiplayer for Halo 5: Guardians, who’s beta will begin in the next few days. However, a limited few players will be able to begin testing the multiplayer on December 19th through the Xbox One Preview Program.

The full beta will begin on December 29th as planned and those who picked up The Master Chief Collection will get in on the action. The limited beta in the meantime will only last until December 21st. If you have received limited access, you’ll still want to rejoin on the 29th since there will be lots of content showcased including several maps and three different game modes.

Halo 5: Guardians’ multiplayer makes a number of changes to the established Halo formula by adding ground pounds, air dashes and the ability to aim down sights for certain weapons. The full game is slated to release some time in 2015.
