Halo 5 Guardians Players Facing Reset Progress in Multiplayer

343 Industries is investigating.

Halo 5 Guardians

343 Industries’ Halo 5: Guardians has been hailed as being generally more reliable than Halo: The Master Chief Collection but it still has some annoying bugs. According to the official forums, it seems that players are facing issues wherein multiplayer progress has been reset. That means any ranks, commendations, REQ Cards and such are completely gone. As you’d imagine, some people aren’t quite happy about that.

As of now, 343 Industries is looking into the issue and has apologized for the convenience. Halo 5: Guardians multiplayer faced some issues with matchmaking, REQ and Service Record/Ranks/Commendation according to its status page but this seems to have been resolved as of 12 PM PST. No word on whether this affected players’ progress being reset and what the developer will do to fix this. Regardless, stay tuned for more information on the matter as updates arrive.

What are your thoughts on the multiplayer progress wipe bug? Let us know in the comments below…or just return to playing Fallout 4. Whichever works.
