Halo 5 Guardians

343 Industries has promised that Halo 5: Guardians will be its biggest release ever and it wasn’t exaggerating. After revealing numerous new multiplayer modes for the sequel, the developer further told GamesRadar at Gamescom that the campaign was twice as long as Halo 4.

That’s keeping in mind the fact that it was actually scaled back from what 343 Industries had in mind. The story could have been even longer in that case, as if heading to different Covenant, Forerunner and Human planets wasn’t enough.

Halo 5: Guardians will be releasing for Xbox One on October 27th. Along with a brand new campaign that introduces four player co-op and differing fireteam perspectives, it also includes a new Arena multiplayer mode and a massive 24 player Warzone mode where teams of 12 battle against each other and tons of AI soldiers.

What are your thoughts on the scale of Halo 5 though and how much bigger it could’ve actually been? Let us know in the comments.
