343 Industries has spilled the beans on its next big update for Halo 5: Guardians. The February update is called Hammer Storm and will include the usual range of new REQs, two new armour sets – Decimator and Marauder – and much more.

First off is the new map Torque which appears to be seen in a space station. Images of its interior haven’t been revealed yet but it looks pretty cool so far. Among the new items Hammer Storm will be adding is the Gravity Hammer which should lead to further chaos at melee range.

Modes like Grifball and Assault will be making a comeback this month and players will also be able to create custom game modes with the new “Ball” types. Fiesta Slayer will also be a playlist, thus allowing for some more casual fun. Other new features include an expanded range of colour options.

You can look forward to gameplay in the new Torque map on February 26th with an upcoming video broadcast. Stay tuned for more information on Hammer Storm’s release date.
