343 Industries was teasing something related to Halo 5: Guardians with a trailer that told us to “HUNTtheTRUTH”. The official website for the same has gone live and it contains weekly episodic audio clips by Benjamin Giraud, a journalist at New Mombasa who covered Master Chief’s arrival when the Covenant attacked. Check it out on Soundcloud now.
There will be a new episode each week and it seems that Giraud will be talking different aspects of the Chief’s personality. Whether this will reveal what eventually became of the Spartan or shed more light on the “Traitor” image doing the rounds remains to be seen in the coming weeks.
At this rate, we do know that Agent Locke will be a playable character in-game and that Cortana will return. Regardless, things are heating up en route to the release of Halo 5: Guardians by year-end so stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks.
