Halo 5 New Video Shows Off Infection Mode Gameplay Footage

Halo 5 Guardians

Halo 5: Guardians is getting the Infection Mode, and we have a brand new video that shows off just what that mode will look like. The mode, which will be a part of the Ghosts of Meridian update for Halo 5, will have enough changes that it feels distinct from the previous renditions on the mode, while still retaining the feel of Infection.

A statement like that may make a lot of fans nervous- especially when 343 Industries have previously made similar remarks about the Halo franchise itself, and by a lot of fans’ reckoning, have failed to actually do that. However, one look at the video footage, which you can see for yourself below, may be enough to allay any fears or trepidations about the take on Infection that you may have had.

Halo 5: Guardians is the fifth numbered entry in the Halo franchise, and the eighth overall. It launched exclusively on the Xbox One last year. Ghosts of Meridian will launch for the game later this month.
