Halo Infinite has generated a lot of buzz in recent weeks, thanks largely to its second round of technical previews, which allowed more players to jump in and see how the shooter’s multiplayer component is shaping up (it’s shaping up quite well). With the game’s launch not far away now though, we’ll be seeing and hearing plenty more of it in the coming days and weeks.
This week, for instance, we’ll get full details on Halo Infinite’s social settings, with a blog update on Halo Waypoint detailing and talking about social and multiplayer aspects of the game. More importantly, we’ll also get to see a full match of Halo Infinite multiplayer being played with competitive/ranked settings. This was recently confirmed on Twitter by Halo esports lead Tahir “Tashi” Hasandjekic and 343 Industries community manager John Junyszek.
Meanwhile, 343 Industries has also said on numerous occasions that it will be showing off more of the game’s single player campaign ahead of its December launch, so here’s hoping we hear more about that in the near future as well.
Halo Infinite is due out on December 8 for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC.
