Microsoft kicked things off with a bang at their E3 presser this year, announcing Halo Infinite with an in game engine pre-alpha trailer. The game runs on a brand new proprietaryengine, Slip Space Engine, and it looks oddly… introspective. It was slow, showing off signs of an environment, as well as the wildlife, before finally showing Chief standing there, looking at it all. What are we looking at here? An open world Halo game?

We don’t have any more information about the game, we just know it exists. We do know that Phil Spencer called it the “greatest adventure Master Chief has been on”. It gave off an instantly appealing vive, that’s for sure- and hopefully it is the breath of fresh air that the Halo needs.

We will keep you posted on more information as it comes in. Hopefully, there is a gameplay demo for the game soon, but right now, it seems like Microsoft has moved on from Halo Infinite entirely.
