Halo Infinite just wrapped up its second round of multiplayer technical previews, and reception for it has been wildly positive, with Big Team Battle in particular getting showered with quite a bit of praise. Of course, as well as the game’s free-to-play multiplayer side is shaping up, the single player campaign still remains a big source of skepticism for many, and even though 343 Industries has assured repeatedly that that will be shown off ahead of the game’s December launch, the fact that we haven’t seen a second of it since its less-than-stellar reveal last year remains worrisome.
It seems, however, that it is shaping up well as well- at least that’s according to Aaron Greenberg, GM of Xbox Games Marketing, who recently took to Twitter to share that he had the chance to play some of the campaign and was left “smiling all weekend” afterwards.
Of course, getting to see it in action ourselves will ultimately be what everyone wants, but it’s good to know that internal reactions are positive, too. Here’s hoping we don’t have to wait too long before 343 Industries decides to show it to the wider public.
Halo Infinite launches for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC on December 8.
