Halo Master Chief Collection Relic remake

343 Industries is working hard on Halo 5: Guardians but it hasn’t cast aside Halo: The Master Chief Collection just yet. After releasing the new Action Sack playlist, a recent Halo Waypoint update revealed that Infection could be heading to the Collection in the coming weeks.

As 343 states, “The playlist team continues to work on future updates, and it’s quite likely that we’ll be talking more about things like Infection in the coming weeks.”

Infection has been a rather interesting mode in the Halo games, especially in Halo 4, and it centres around one player – the Infected – killing other players and converting them into Infected when they respawn. The last player to survive and remain uninfected will win.

Infection won’t be the only update to Master Chief Collection as it is also working on another content update for the near future. Halo Reach HD? We can only hope so stay tuned for more information, especially as Halo 5 heads to Gamescom.
