Art director Kenneth Scott may have left 343 Industries but development on the Xbox One Halo, unofficially dubbed Halo 5, is still proceeding normally. In fact, some concept art for the same has been released online. Check it out above.
343 Industries also posted on Halo Waypoint to discuss other changes made to the team. Along with Scott now working as a creative consultant, Tim Longo is now creative director, Josh Holmes is executive producer and Kiki Wolfkill, formerly executive producer, who will be stepping an as of yet unannounced new role.
As for the concept art, 343 Industries stated that it was “An early exploration of a new location that features prominently in a little game project we’re tinkering with.” What else could it be but Halo on the Xbox One? We’ll see if any other details surface in the coming weeks – and if indeed this is the year our journey with Halo begins again.
