Handheld/Mobile Mass Effect announcement coming soon

Posted By | On 02nd, Feb. 2012

EA has been mentioning a mobile/handheld Mass Effect 3 tie-in product for a long time, every time during their quarterly meets, and an EA rep has told Kotaku again that an announcement regarding those “products” is coming soon.

“There will be “handheld/mobile” products tied to Mass Effect 3, as noted in our past few earnings announcements,” said the rep. “They are part of the Galaxy at War system. We will have more details to share soon.”

It doesn’t look like it’ll be a game, rather a tracking thingie application for the Galaxy at War feature. Stay tuned, we’ll keep you updated.

Mass Effect 3 releases on March 6 for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
