Mafia studio Hangar 13 is currently at work on a new IP, and though there have been no announcements or reveals concerning what it’ll be, some details on the game have emerged thanks to job ads over the last year or so, from it being an open world game to possibly having a fantasy or science fiction setting. Now, another new job ad provides more potential details.
It seems Hangar 13’s new project will put an emphasis on online multiplayer gameplay. The ad, for the position of Lead Multiplayer Systems Designer, talks about providing “a fantastic online experience” for players. The ad also mentions things such as guilds and live events, and says that the applicant will “be responsible for leading the overall design effort for our online features” and including “defining matchmaking requirements and algorithms”.
Hangar 13 have been working on what’s being described as “an exciting new AAA IP” for some time now, but 2K Games haven’t yet made any announcements about what it’ll be or when we might see it. Stay tuned to GamingBolt, and we’ll keep you updated on any new info that comes our way.
