Hawken- PhysX video is very impressive

NVidia has released a new video to advertise its PhysX effects, using the new particle effects and stuff in online mech shooter Hawken.

The trailer shows off the particle effects of the PhysX engine, shall we call it, and it’s very impressive indeed. It gives great attention to tiny little details, and makes everything look that much more authentic and just plain, flat out awesome.

Everything from the destruction of environments and roads to the fires and the energy emissions look extremely good. The video is give below, maybe you should have a look if you’re interested:

It’s really impressive what they’ve shown here. Let’s foolishly hope that some day, we will get these kind of visuals and technical feats on consoles too. Maybe next gen. Oh well.
