HAWKEN playable at Gamescom

Today Meteor Entertainment announced that HAWKEN, a forthcoming free-to-play shooter, will be playable at this year’s Gamescom in Cologne.

Residing in the Electronic Sports League arena, Hall 8, HAWKEN will be playable for all attendees ahead of its open beta later this year, as well as the creators being on hand to provide exclusive glimpses at the creation of the game.

Every there there will be two HAWKEN presentations, from 11:15am-12:00pm and 3:45pm-4:15pm.

Mark Long, Meteor Entertainment CEO stated: “We’re super psyched to join ESL at gamescom. They’ve done such a great job with League of Legends, we’re hoping HAWKEN joins ESL next year too!”

HAWKEN’s open beta begins on 12th December this year on PC, with rumours the title may become available for Ouya.
