Hell is Us unfolds in Hadea, a fictional country divided by war between the Palomists and Sabinians, where a mysterious Calamity has also broken out. Rémi infiltrates amid all this, battling Hollow Walkers while searching for his parents, but eventually, he’s embroiled in something much bigger.
Of course, he’ll need to figure things out on his own, since Hell is Us forsakes hand-holding or guidance of any kind. Instead, players must investigate the environment, speak to NPCs, and piece together clues to advance. Then there are the dungeons, which are full of dangerous threats and puzzles to solve.
