Ninja Theory hasn’t dated its action adventure title Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice but continues to show off the dazzling technology behind it. The latest developer diary showcases software created with Epic and other companies that helps to transform motion capture performances to in-game movement as quickly as possible.

The developer event went to the extent of showcasing a live demo on stage at Siggraph 2016 and how it was used alongside another scene that was captured minutes prior. Check out the video for yourself to see just how Ninja Theory made it all possible.

When it Hellblade actually releasing though? We’re not really sure – it’s already gone through its sheer of design changes, especially with regards to the design of its protagonist. Ninja Theory hasn’t said whether it will be out in 2016 but we know it’s still coming to PC and PS4.

What are your thoughts on the new motion capture technology and its power? Let us know in the comments.
