Hellish Survival Horror Agony Releases on May 29th

After a short delay, the terrifying traipse through virtual Hell is out next month.

It seems like almost forever that Madmind Studio’s Agony was revealed and promised a hellacious survival horror journey through actual Hell. There’s good news though – the developer has announced that Agony will be releasing on May 29th for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.

Crowd-funded in November 2016 developers who have worked on titles like The Division, The Witcher 3 and so on, Agony sees players traveling through Hell without any memories and doing their best to survive. The goal is to locate the Red Goddess and solve the mystery surrounding her, especially since she created this hellhole. Players won’t be completely defenseless as they can possess demons, control people and whatnot to get by.

Along with a single-player campaign, there is a challenge system where completing various tasks will net the player a high score. Though initially slated to release in March 2018 (which its Steam store description still lists), Agony was delayed to offer more polish across all platforms.
