Here Are Some New Final Fantasy XV, Final Fantasy Type 0 HD Screenshots

It's Square Enix, so at least the games look pretty.

Square Enix is bringing us not just one, but two Final Fantasy games on consoles next year. And these newest screenshots let us have a good look at both of them.

The first of these is Final Fantasy Type 0 HD, which is an HD remastering of the hit PSP action RPG that never got a localization, and therefore will be the first time we in the west get to play it. Type 0 HD, judging by these screenshots, looks pretty good- it certainly looks far beyond a PSP game, though honestly, it doesn’t look up to the graphical standards of a PS4 or an Xbox One game. Maybe a mid cycle/mid-range PS3 or Xbox 360 game, at most. But definitely not PS4 or Xbox One level. This further drives home the idea that Square Enix should have just put this one on the Vita (and that would have been less work for them too).

The other game is Final Fantasy XV, which finally got some new media at this TGS after an unbearably long radio silence. The game looks pretty darn cool, and these screenshots are right out of the trailer, so if that trailer excited you for the potential of this game, these screenshots will just give you more of that goodness.

Both of these titles are slated for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 next year.
