Guild-Wars-2

Escape From Lion’s Arch, the newest chapter in Guild Wars 2’s ongoing ‘living’ storyline, sees game villain Scarlett Briar and his forces besiege Lion’s Arch, the historic city that has acted as a hub for players not only since the initial release of Guild Wars 2, but going all the way back to the original Guild Wars.

In game lore, Lion’s Arch is a central city that houses teeming populations, countless refuges, and is an important trade and economic center. Its destruction would spell disaster for its population in the game world.

The attack has now begun, however, and it is up to the players to battle Briar’s forces and to hold their siege at bay, lest the city itself be leveled.

Guild Wars 2 is NCSoft’s epic MMORPG. Sequel to the original cult hit Guild Wars, the game requires no fee after the initial purchase, and eschews many conventions of its genre.

Stay tuned for more coverage.
