Hideo Kojima Is Working On His Next Game’s Concept

No rest for Kojima, apparently.

Death Stranding is not even two months old yet, but Hideo Kojima is already looking ahead to the future as he starts thinking up whatever crazy game he puts out next. Having already been thinking on his next game since before Death Stranding even came out, Kojima has talked a couple times about what kind of a project he wants to work on next- and apparently that process is well underway.

Taking recently to Twitter, Kojima mentioned that he recently back in the Kojima Productions office (while no one else was, apparently), and that while he was there, he was “working on the next concept.” The update was also accompanied by an image of Kojima’s desk, that many will be analyzing extensively for clues, no doubt. There is, of course, no telling yet what this new game will be, but we can still probably make a couple guessed.

Kojima has said in the past that a Death Stranding sequel isn’t completely out of the question– though it would have to “start from zero” if he did make it. Additionally, Kojima has also expressed interest in developing a horror game– and anyone who’s played P.T. will tell you that that’s a game that needs to be made.

In the more immediate future, Death Stranding – which is currently available on PS4 – will be releasing on PC in summer of 2020.
