Without a doubt, one of the highlights of the recent Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase was High on Life, a sci-fi Metroidvania first person shooter developed by Rick and Morty creator Justin Roiland’s Squanch Games. Everything we’ve seen of it so far has looked very promising, and thankfully, we won’t have to wait awfully long to get our hands on it.
At the time of the game’s announcement, Squanch Games handed it an October launch window, but a specific date wasn’t mentioned. Now, courtesy of the game’s Xbox store page and subsequent confirmation by the developers over on Twitter, it’s been revealed that High on Life will be available on October 25.
When it launches, High on Life will be available on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC, and will also be available via Xbox and PC Game Pass at launch. A recent report revealed that it (along with Supermassive Games’ The Quarry) was almost a Stadia-exclusive title. Read more on that through here.
