IO Interactive and Warner Bros. recently announced that the Hitman franchise will be continuing with Hitman 2, showing us a reveal trailer along with some screenshots of the game. They’ve now also released a tease of a specific section of the game itself.

The trailer gives us some background info – or a “briefing” – of Agent 47’s mission in Miami, giving us a look at what the area itself will look like. It looks like it’ll be taking place in the middle of a racing event. There’s also info on some people of interest, who are characters that it will be focussed on. There’s Robert Knox, the head of a corporation, his daughter Sierra Knox, a racer, as well as Knox’s rival, Moses Lee.

As far as gameplay itself is concerned, there’s next to none of it in the video. It only serves as a briefing of the mission itself, but it does hint at some pretty interesting gameplay opportunities- at least indirectly. You can take a look at it below (via YouTube channel Centerstrain 01). We also expect we’ll be hearing more about Hitman 2 in the coming days during E3 week. Stick with GamingBolt for more updates.
