Hitman 2 is the second instalment in IO Interactive’s reboot series of the long running Hitman franchise, and a direct sequel to their 2016 game. Unlike Hitman (2016), the game is not published by Square Enix, after the developers and the publishers parted ways.
Also unlike its predecessor, Hitman 2 is not an episodic title, but instead released with all of its content in a single package.
The PlayStation VR2 release of Hitman World of Assassination will include a number of enhancements, including the ability to dual-wield weapons.
