hitman 2

Hitman 2 is due to launch in a few months, and IO Interactive and Warner Bros. have put out a brand new teaser to show us one of the environments that we can play through in this game- the jungle (which, incidentally, was one of the environments that was missing from the original).

The jungle is set in Colombia in South America, and will be a fully featured, living and breathing rendition of the environment in game- for many, this will be like a next generation take on Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater‘s jungle environments, I am sure.

Given the kind of systemic and emergent gameplay that the upcoming title is going for, and that the first game went for as well, Hitman 2‘s jungle is likely going to present players with a wide linear sandbox, and multiple ways to get things done, even more than any other environment in the first game managed. It seems exciting enough from the teaser, at any rate.

Hitman 2 launches for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on November 13.
