Hitman 2 is looking like exactly the game we all want it to be- an extension of Hitman (2016). It’s not revolutionizing anything, because it doesn’t need to. It knows what worked well in its predecessor (and a lot of it worked very well), and it’s leveraging those strengths to its benefit.

The biggest of those strengths, of course, was the systemic-based emergent gameplay that powered the previous Hitman, and from everything we’ve seen so far, Hitman 2 is doubling down on that. IO Interactive have now released a new video for the game, which seems to be the first in a series of videos titled “How to Hitman“, which I assume will be going through different aspects of the game one by one.

This particular video dives briefly into how the numerous systems in the game all interact with each other to, based on players’ choices, produce vastly different outcomes. The gameplay footage shown in here is from the Miami level, which we’ve already seen a lot of, but it looks pretty impressive nonetheless. Take a look below.

Hitman 2 launches on November 13 for the Xbox One, PS4, and PC. Unlike its predecessor, it won’t be episodic, and will be launching with all its six locations, each of which will feature several missions.
