Hitman 3

It was no secret that IO Interactive was working on a new Hitman title. However, it is surprising to see Hitman 3 pop up during the PS5 showcase event. Billed as his most “intimate” and professional contract yet, it seems that the walls are closing around Agent 47. Check out the trailer below.

IO Interactive teased one of the locations, Dubai, that will feature in the game. More importantly, Hitman 3 will serve as the conclusion to the World of Assassination series that began with Hitman (2016). What will Agent 47’s fate be? Is this the end of his professional career?

We’ll find out the answers in January 2021 when Hitman 3 releases. It’s coming to PlayStation 5 but should be available for Xbox Series X and PC. In fact, it wouldn’t be surprising to see it release for Xbox One and PS4 as well, perhaps revamping missions from the previous games. Stay tuned for more details in the meantime.
